This dataset is comprised of lidar point cloud data covering the Municipality of Anchorage, as well as select sites in the Mat-Su Borough. The dataset consists of 620 lidar LAS files that have been auto-classified. It should be noted that portions of the project area were covered in snow, causing decreased point density and negatively impacting overall surface usability in some areas. A thorough review of supplemental information is recommended prior to use of this lidar data and any derivative surfaces |

None, however it should be noted that this data has been neither (a.) manually edited or verified for surface representational accuray nor (b.) compared statistically to ground-collected QAQC check-shots. Therefore no verified accuracy can be documented at this time, nor should this data be utilized for design or other engineering purposes that typically require conformance to a published accuracy specification. Later phases of this project will be thorougly cleaned, revieiwed, and compared to ground-collected QAQC data to verify vertical accuracy.
